Are there any natives of San Fran on my flist? I'm toying with the idea of having the boys stop there briefly in my BB fic but, since I figure they've probably all been there before, I'd want to have them go somewhere that isn't really well known to tourists and that only the locals know about

Any ideas?

Didn't wind up going to bed until almost 4am. Epic fail, self.

On the plus side my headache has now gone, and despite feeling crappy last night I managed to get my rpf_big_bang fic up to 11400 words. I'm kind of starting to panic about it again now. I'm really worried that it's actually a very boring story. I'm half inclined to see if I can find someone to read it now and tell me if I'm being paranoid but I should really wait until it's finished and edited before I start looking for second opinions

Ah well. I shall write more today and try and watch the SPN disk that I failed to watch yesterday.

Amusingly I did a small post celebrating Jared's birthday a couple of years ago where I considered writing J2 but didn't have time. SPN really is a fandom I have been dipping in and out of since I first saw the show

Today you are 27 years old (only just though because it's 4am in Vancouver at the moment). I still don't fully understand how or why you suddenly captured my attention and I'm not ruling out your psychic dreamstalker powers but that doesn't matter. I love that you can make me smile with your boundless energy, infectious smile and contagious laugh. I love that your dogs and your friends mean more to you than anything else.

I am feeling so tired and apathetic today, and I have a headache which is not helping. Just stuck the next SPN disk in and am staring at the menu screen. Can't even be bothered to concentrate on watching.

A couple of guys moved into our building last week and they're having a party tonight. Right outside my bedroom window. Meh! If I was feeling less crappy I'd go out and say hi but really I just want them to STFU and go away. This makes me feel old.

Speaking of old I totally did not know it was Jared's birthday tomorrow. More worryingly I didn't know he was only 26 (27 tomorrow). He is a youngling! I honestly thought he was about the same age as me. It's only 3 years difference but I'm used to my celeb crushes being older than me (apart from Colin and Bradley)

If I was feeling a bit more inspired I'd try and throw together a J2 birthday fic (with bonus!Misha because he has to be in everything now) but I'm struggling to describe a house in my BB fic today so I think anything more advanced than that is going to be beyond me. I will do an epic picspam post tomorrow though as my way of celebrating

I am home! I can't believe my week off is nearly over already. I can't complain in terms of what I wanted to get done (rpf_big_bang is now up to 10600 words) but I am not looking forward to going back to work on Monday.

goth_clark has requested Tall Tales icons and since it's one of my favourite episodes I will be making those today. Also going to do some more BB and watch the next SPN disk. Anyone sensing a theme for how I spend my free time. Icons, writing, Supernatural. LOL!

Had a weird dream last night that I had to take extra driving lessons. It wasn't a mandatory thing but my dad thought it would do me some good. I had the same instructor that taught me to drive and within five minutes of getting behind the wheel I'd hit another car whilst attempting to reverse. Eek!

So, remember when my whole J2 fixation started because I started having random and consecutive dreams about Jared?

Well, I was theorising to sinnerforhire that Jared is a real life psychic and was projecting himself into my dreams. Things got a bit silly after that but awesome J2 fic featuring psychic dream!stalker Jared resulted.

It will be a sad, sad day when Misha Collins gets bored of Twitter. Still, under his latest rules I now don't have to get up until 2pm. WOO!

Danneel Harris has just got a Twitter apparently. I give it less than 24 hours before the first crazy J2 fangirl spams her with hate.

It's still raining but the thunder had stopped. Thankfully I have nowhere to go today. It's funny but if I was at home or at my parents this would be a total PJ day but I feel kind of weird spending the day in someone elses house and not getting dressed *shrug*

Last night at Ros's tonight. Kitty has been very well behaved all week and hasn't brought me a single dead (or alive) thing so she's one up on my parents cat. LOL!

I broke the 10K word count on my rpf_big_bang yesterday and am currently at 10200. Might try and aim for 15K by Sunday but I don't know if I'll manage it. Want to make some icons today really and I've got three spn_j2_bigbang fics to read already. We'll see how it goes. I'm happy with the progress being made on the fic so I suppose that's all that matters. The end it still nowhere near in sight but I've still got over six weeks until the first draft is due.

Right, first things first. Shower and lunch

There's a pretty epic thunder storm going on at the moment. Kitty is going a bit mental because she can't go out (because she doesn't want to go out in the rain, not because I won't let her).

But more annoyingly the thunder woke me up from an amazing Misha Collins dream. We were at this convention and a bunch of my LJ friends were there. The only one I remember for sure seeing was yellowwolf5 but I think some of my Merlin friends were there too.

Anyway, we were playing these silly games where you had to collect items, and do an assault course, stuff like that. We'd all been divided into teams with one of the con guests as each team leader. Of course I was on Misha's team and he was mocking me for coming last in the assault course challenge and I was snarking back at him which he just found amusing. But I won the item collecting challenge and that made him happy. LOL.

We had some time left over at the end of the con so Misha decided to do an inpromptu panel on writing and was giving lots of useful hints and tips on how to write better fanfic. I was sat next to him, or sprawled on the floor more accurately because we were on these big floor cushions (which I blame on a scene from my rpf_big_bang) and he was coming out with some really amazing stuff. Sadly I can't remember what any of his useful tips were now. Damn thunder.

goth_clark was expressing the need for more Dean icons, and I've been toying with making some non-Castiel related icons for a while so I figured now was the perfect time since I'm not at work and have all the DVDs with me
